Soft Market Testing | Tender VLE

hi everyone it’s Dan here from tender
VLE and as you can see we have moved officers and in our environment that can
house up to 50 staff members would like to thank every individual and company
who was engaged with tender VLE and our wider group which has helped us achieve
massive growth over the past year so with this new setting we are happy to
provide some information in relation to soft market testing this term basically
refers to the softened process that comes before a tender is released this
doesn’t happen all of the time of course and is quite rare in some industries we
find soft market tests are usually found in ever-changing markets such as
technology construction or the medical sector typically the industries where
innovation is at the forefront of our economies our landscape basically a soft
market test is a procedure in which buyers release an opportunity for
potential suppliers to submit a certain responses it’s similar to a tender
except for one key thing the buyer doesn’t really know their requirements in full
or they understand what they need but requires support and guidance on the
best products and services to achieve this there is no work guaranteed at the
end of this exercise and is usually for information only soft market tests are
open procedures which help buyers understand markets a little better
which then support their eventual ITT development and release to suppliers the
benefits of this include the buyer gets a full indication of what products and
services are best to source in the marketplace the buyer could potentially
receive a lot of advice of the different solutions available the benefits of
these solutions along with all associated costs for each proposed
solution the benefits this proposes for the supplier can be quite extreme just
think a lot of suppliers will be put off by spending the time on soft market
tests do with an or guarantee of work and income at the end of this the whole
point of this exercise is for the buyer to clear as much information as possible
to ensure that when they release their tender there can be a lot more
forthcoming about their requirements and understand the market a little bear here
at tender VLE we do recommend that suppliers take part in these as they may
have major influence in how the tender specification is
Written and developed by the buyer for example this may contain a lot of your
recommendations or information relating to proposals that you as the supplier have
provided in turn making this tender geared toward your service offering a
lot more we’ve completed work for one client previously and due to them
responding to a soft market test which involved them providing detail to their
software solutions when the buyer released the tender their requirements
were pretty much focused on our client solutions proposed as part of the soft
market test now for further information on to speak to one of our dedicated
