In, against, on. Great to see you again! Do you want to learn about the prepositions? The ‘voorzetels’ in Dutch? Yes, of course you want that! In this video I will tell you how you can use some prepositions. Well… I’m going to show you how you can use them. Because I made a couple of pictures of myself with my table, and with my cats and I will show you how to use some of the prepositions. These are very frequently used prepositions, for instance IN (in) or OP (on) and the rest I will show you! In this video I will not discuss the prepositions for time nor the more abstract ones or the combinations with verbs… No! We’re just going to start with the basis! So, come with me to watch my slideshow! Hi everyone, this is Kim and the table. Kim is lying ON the table. Kim is standing BETWEEN the table and the dresser. Kim is standing NEXT TO and also BY the table. Kim is standing IN FRONT OF the table. Kim is standing BEHIND the table. In front of the table, behind the table. Kim is standing AGAINST the wall. The whiteboard is hanging ON the wall. Against the wall, on the wall. Kim is standing “IN FRONT OF” (more accurate: FACING) the camera. The candles are AROUND the saucer. Kim is lying UNDER the table and the table is therefore ABOVE Kim. Kim is IN the toilet. Kim is “OUT” the toilet. IN the toilet, OUT the toilet. This cat candy is “OF Kim” and FOR the cats. Kim is giving the cat candy TO Veggie Kim is standing WITH Nala IN the kitchen. Kim is going “TO” outside. Kim is OUTSIDE the house. Kim is INSIDE the house. INSIDE and OUTSIDE.
