Meddling mum hunted by police over bid to get son Valentine’s Day date – News Live


 A persistent mum is being hunted by police over her desperate university campus campaign to get her son a Valentine’s Day date  The woman, who has been pictured on CCTV, has been plaguing students at Towson University in Maryland, USA  And local authorities have now released her picture and a warning message in an attempt to track her down  Two students are said to have complained to uni officers over the woman’s behaviour last week  Students say the meddling mum approached them in the Cook Library and Center for the Arts campus buildings, according to the Baltimore Sun    She reportedly took her mobile phone out and showed the ladies a picture of her son  According to the paper, chief of the university police department, Charles Herring said: “This incident advisory is being provided in order to make the TU Community aware of an incident on campus that may cause concern ”  “This advisory is intended to heighten awareness and inform the community of incidents that may impact their safety and security ”    The woman, believed to be in her 50s, can be seen in the CCTV images wearing a multi-coloured scarf and carrying a jacket over her arm  She is wearing a dark top, glasses and has her phone in her hand.  It is believed the woman is not the subject of a criminal investigation but police want to warn her about her behaviour  Anyone with information is asked to contact Towson Campus Police at (410) 704-4444
