These yummy baked chicken tenders take
two secret ingredients to make them crispy and good. I’m Tess and come join
me as I make these delicious tasty chicken tenders in the oven. (intro music) I’m using chicken tenders but you can
cut up some boneless chicken breasts in strips. I don’t use chicken tenders too
often but they do make for a great chicken finger food and that’s what
we’re doing tonight. I’m starting by seasoning the chicken and I have some
Lawry’s seasoning, garlic and onion powder, poultry seasoning and a little salt and
black pepper. You can use your favorite chicken rub or spices that you like. Some
cayenne pepper is nice for a little heat. Chicken tenders are very lean so we need
to add a little fat. You can use melted butter or any oil that you like but
tonight I’m making a healthier choice by using some good extra virgin olive oil.
The oil will help crisp up the outside and keep the meat moist. Adding in my
spices and giving that a good toss and refrigerating for 30 minutes. Now for the coating and these are the
two secret ingredients. I’m using cornflake crumbs and a packet of ranch
dressing mix. I love how the cornflakes make a nice crunchy crust and the ranch
seasoning mix really adds some nice flavor. Giving that a good mix, coating
the chicken tenders and placing them on a parchment lined baking sheet. I don’t
have any spray oil so I’m just going to drizzle the top with a little more oil
and baking these at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 30 minutes and this
just depends on the size of the chicken tenders. Just keep an eye on them.
And the crispy baked chicken tenders are done! Serving with a myriad of sauces. I
have a honey mustard mayo sauce, barbecue sauce and a sriracha mayo sauce. The
baked chicken tenders are crispy with lots of flavor. You can serve these as an
appetizer, meal or snack. Great for parties and get-togethers.
