Colonial Coins – British Colonies of America – Coin Price Guide

Hi this is Gary from Land of Coins .com,
the online rare coin auction site that has no buyers fees and no sellers fees.
I want to show you how you can look up colonial coins, specifically the
British colonies of America, colonial coins. Now these coins are from, they
started in the 1600’s, and I’m going to show you how you can look up the prices
of these coins on Land of Coins .com. And not only the pricing of the coins today,
but what they were throughout the decades going all the way back to the
1950’s. So we’ll look at the 1950’s pricing, 1960s, 1970’s and the pricing of these
coins and how they’ve gone up in value. So let’s go to the computer now and I’ll
show you how to get to the British colonies of America colonial coins on
Land of Coins .com. Okay we’re on the homepage of Land of Coins .com. And to
check out the British colonies coins, we just go to price history guides right on
the navigation bar. And then you’ll see all the cards here that have all the
denominations, but we’re looking at colonial coins. Go ahead and click
British colonies in America, then you’ll see the tables come up and you have all
the colonial coins from the British colonies. The Maryland Lord Baltimore,
Maryland sixpence, and the Massachusetts going down and you’ll see the values.
I’ll just take the Maryland sixpence, for for example, from 1958 throughout the
decades. You’ve got 1965, 1980, 1986, 2000 and you’ll see how the
values, depending on the grade, where they started and how they’ve gone up in value.
Sometimes you’ll see a little drop, such as right here, in 1980 you saw it
dropped a little bit from 80 to 86, but then they go back up. So you can kind of
see how the coins managed to go up in value over the long term. And you can go
through here and cherry-pick the ones you would like if you’re just buying a
couple coins from the series. Or if you’re going to buy them all and collect
the whole series you’ll see what to expect on the values. So this is Gary
from Land of Coins .com and thank you for watching this video!
