Namaskaram The dish that iam about to make today is a breakfast option. Karikke dosa or tender coconut dosa We’ll make a dosa using tender coconut flesh and water. You can try this for a change when you are tired of eating appam, dosa and idli Its very easy to make There are only three main ingredients and one step Detail ingredients list is in the description box So Ill tell you the things that we need This is raw rice which i have soaked for 8 hrs and drained Iam using sona masuri rice but you can use any variety Second ingredient is tender coconut flesh Then we need tender coconut water Apart from this we need salt Thats all that is required to make this dish The first step is to grind the batter This batter does not require any resting time We can grind it and immediately make the dosas Its that easy So we will grind the batter now I have taken the mixie jar here and we’ll add the rice into it Along with it we’ll add the tender coconut flesh If there are hard bits in the flesh remove them or else it will get difficult to grind in the mixie Now we add the tender coconut water We have to grind all this together into a smooth batter or like a dosa batter I’ll be back after grinding this If you like my channel please subscribe and like and share my videos I missed out to mention one ingredient in the beginning We’ll need sugar also. I have already added salt and sugar to the batter I forgot to mention the sugar I have the batter ready in here and i have added salt into it Its exactly like dosa batter only the taste will be different I kept saying coconut water while mentioning the ingredients what i meant was tender coconut water The batter is ready now all that is left to do is make the dosas I have linked above a card with side dish options for this dosa. Do check out Lets make the dosas I have put the dosa tawa on medium heat and its hot We will mix the batter once more and pour it like a uttapam or pancake into the tawa Close with a lid and cook Lets check the dosa Lets flip it over Let it cook for another 10 sec and allow the other side to cook Then we will remove from the tawa Dosa is ready let’s move it to a plate Make the rest in the same way You can grease the sides of the dosa with ghee or oil to enhance the taste Iam using ghee you can use any cooking medium
